History

In 1996 De Baak Management Center started to organize management courses for young Ukrainian managers, supported by the Dutch Ministry of Economy. This training was aimed at transferring of management skills from Dutch companies to Ukrainian companies.

The idea of creating a Ukrainian-Dutch Business Club (the Club) originated from De Baak Management Centre and was supported by a group of Ukrainian managers who completed the training in 1996-1997.

The Business Club obtained an official status on April 12, 2000, in Kyiv. This was made possible through support from both sides. Since reaching official status many trainees have continued to join the Club.

Being supported by the Netherlands Embassy in Ukraine Business Club “Kyiv-the Netherlands” renewed its activity in February, 2009.
